Based on the GA-B2100 with its Smartphone Link and Tough Solar charging, and featuring a band and bezel made with bio-based resin produced from renewable organic resources, the timepieces honor these endearing creatures with environmentally focused functions and materials, vivid color, and unique designs.The GA-B2100DF-1A is inspired by the Galápagos Albatross, one of the largest birds on the islands, with a wingspan of over two meters. Its graceful glide on rising air currents is depicted in the shape of the indicator hand and on the band loop. A map of the Galápagos adorns the dial, accented with yellow details evoking the bird’s beak.The case back is engraved with the Charles Darwin Foundation logo and name in Spanish, and the band is printed with the statement “Apoyo la conservación de Galápagos.” (Spanish for “I support Galápagos conservation.”)
These watches also come complete with special, plastic-free packaging, befitting a timepiece collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation.
